UFO spotted in northwestern China

A photo of the unidentified flying object uploaded by an internet user.
On May 23, internet users from different parts of northwestern China including Ningxia, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia said they witnessed an unidentified flying object in the sky, with many suspecting it to be a new spacecraft or missile, reports state-run Global Times.

The event took place the night of May 23. Photos uploaded on various Chinese websites showed a light beam flying in the dark sky. One military expert said that the light beam was more likely created by a humans and not a natural occurrence. The viewers said that the craft looked 10 kilometers from the ground when those photos were taken.

Many netizens believe the light beam they saw was either a new type of spacecraft or ballistic missile being tested by the Chinese government. However, one netizen believed that it has to do with exercises launched by the PLA in the Wuhai region located between the Gobi and Ordos deserts.

Mystery Phenomenon In Skies Over Perm, Russia Has Us Scratching Our Heads

Mysterious footage has emerged on Reddit showing a strange and unexplained phenomenon in the skies over a Russian city.

Stunned resident of Kizel, in the county of Perm, recorded the above footage showing strange occurrences in the night sky, apparently filmed in March 2015.

Nine days after this footage was posted on YouTube, The Moscow Times reported the appearance of a strange and unexplainable sinkhole 20m wide in the region.

The video title, originally in Russian, describes it as a "fixed launch UFO", although many commenters were quick to offer their own explanations.

Many postulated it may have been a missile launch, citing specific types of weaponry with distinctive trails, including the Soviet-era Topol M intercontinental ballistic missile.

"All this is, is Goku shooting his kamehameha... jeez guise," another YouTuber said. A Redditor, meanwhile, said it was actually the launch of an Inmarsat 5-F2 Comsat space rocket (a bit more believable than Dragonball Z coming to life).

"The local sky is dark, but as the rocket climbs higher, it reaches an altitude where its exhaust is in sunlight, so it glows brightly like this. These clouds can hang around for an hour or more with the right atmospheric conditions," MagicDave131 said.

However the suggestion is inconclusive, as the Inmarsat rocket launched from Baikonur, Kazakhstan, 1,900km away.

UFO photos taken near McMinnville in 1950 still raise questions

They were just two black and white photos taken with a simple Kodak camera by a Yamhill County farmer 65 years ago Monday.

But the controversy stirred up by those images still lingers in the minds of many:  Did the pictures that Paul Trent snapped the evening of May 11, 1950, really show a flying saucer?

Or were the photos fakes, simply a bid by Trent and his wife to jump on board the runaway wagon of UFO mania that gripped the United States in the late 1940s and early 1950s?

The McMinnville photos weren't the first reports of UFOs, but they are considered by many who study the topic to be among the best photographic evidence of flying saucers.

And even skeptics see them as the best fake photos of flying saucers ever found.

The UFO craze in the United States is generally thought to have started three years earlier in June 1947 when a Boise salesman flying his small plane near Mount Rainier reported seeing nine shiny objects flying at high speed near his craft.

Over the next few days, his story exploded.  It also was the first of multiple UFO reports around the world.

Then, in July that year, an Air Force  colonel announced that 509th Bomb Group had captured a flying saucer.

His superiors immediately denied the report, but it fed the mania.  And for the next several years, those sightings and stories led to a cascade of sightings, U.S. Air Force investigations, science fiction books and movies and a constant stream of claims and rebuttals that still goes on today.

Then came the Trents and their photos.

Trent and his wife Evelyn lived on a farm between McMinnville and Sheridan.  On the evening of May 11, Evelyn Trent had been walking back toward their house after feeding some rabbits when she said she looked up and saw a flying metallic disc moving in her direction.

She told her husband, and he took two photos of the object, which they said then quickly flew away.
Trent apparently didn't think too much about the incident because he didn't get the black and white film developed until a few days later when he had used up the roll.  It wasn't until he told a friend about the sighting and showed him the photos that the incident was widely reported.

The photos soon appeared on the front page of the Telephone Register, which was the local paper. Before long, the national media was on to the story.

The Trents became celebrities for a time and were flown to New York to appear on TV.  They loaned the photo negatives to the International News Service, which circulated them worldwide.

Eventually, the photos appeared in LIFE magazine, which was the nation's largest-circulation magazine at the time.

The Trents never received any money for the photos and the negatives weren't returned to them for decades, supposedly having been misplaced by INS or LIFE.

Meanwhile, researcher after researcher has looked at the photos and declared them authentic -- or fake.

In 1997, the Trents were interviewed by Bryan Denson of The Oregonian for a 50th anniversary story he and Jim Long, another reporter for The Oregonian, were doing on the UFO craze.

Evelyn Trent told Denson of seeing a "magnificent disc hurtling toward the house," handing the camera to her husband, who then took the pictures.

By then, they were living in a McMinnville apartment and were interviewed together.  It was clear that while she was willing to still talk about the sighting, he'd had enough.  The following is from Denson's and Long's story:

''After you took the picture of it coming in, and then goin' back out, the wind that came down (had) no motor or no smoke or no nothin' -- JUST THE WIND.''
''S'all there was,'' she confided to a visitor. ''No motor or sound to it at all.''
Paul Trent groaned and stiffened in his recliner. ''I told you to forget all about that,'' he said.
''I know you did,'' she said. ''You told me to forget about it.''
Quietly, she added, ''We've been bugged so much.''

The Trents have both since died, but they never changed their story about the sighting.

Clarification: 'New Roswell' Pictures Not Alien But A Native Indigenous Child

Tony Braglia, a "principal investigator" who analysed them, issued an astonishing public apology.

He said the dead alien was actually a Native American child who lived in the abandoned ancient city of Mesa Verde.

Braglia insisted the incident was "a serious case of mistaken identity" rather than a "hoax", but issued this confession:

"I must offer my sincerest and deepest apologies to the Native American people of the Southwestern United States.
"One of their children, a dead child from well over a century ago, was made a spectacle. Whoever you are, you deserve to be extended dignity and respect."

More Information
The so-called Roswell slides are images that a group of UFO promoters – including Anthony Bragalia, Jaime Maussan, Adam Dew, Donald Schmitt, Tom Carey, and Richard Dolan – put forward at an event held on May 5, 2015, in Mexico City, as proof positive of an extraterrestrial crash at Roswell in 1947 and the recovery and cover-up by the US government of alien bodies. These are claims that most of the aforementioned group have been making for over two years now. They have repeatedly said that the best experts they could find were examining the slides, and that they had determined the slides were of unearthly origin.

Nothing could be further from the truth. As many skeptics have been saying since the first rough image of one of the slides was procured several months ago as a screen capture from a promotional video released by Dew, the figure photographed and shown in the slides is almost certainly a mummified body. -http://skepticversustheflyingsaucers.blogspot.com.au/2015/05/the-roswell-slide-saga-epilogue.html

Tony Bragalia and the End of the Roswell Slides: THE “ROSWELL ALIEN SLIDES” AND MY APOLOGY TO A DEAD CHILD OF THE MESA VERDE BY ANTHONY BRAGALIA

The word “hoax” has been used to describe the “Roswell Slides” saga. It was not. At least, the principal investigators, Tom Carey, Don Schmitt, and I did not knowingly fake or obfuscate anything. No matter, it is a serious case of mistaken identity, the consequences of which I fully accept.-Link Below

'UFO' filmed over El Paso by amateur videographer

An amateur videographer in El Paso has captured what alien conspiracy theorists are calling a UFO.

The video, posted Sunday to YouTube by Finding UFO, appears to show two white fluttering objects flying from right to left high above a home.

But while the viewer is watching the two objects slowly fly by, a third objecty races past at speeds to fast to catch with the naked eye.

The videopgrapher shooting the two slower-moving white objects doesn't seem to notice the faster-moving object. Once slowed down, the object appears to be circular in shape.

"This was a low flying UFO...probably scouting for the two UFOs higher up," claims UFO Sightings Daily.

Check out the video and see the still slides to view the object for yourself.

Was this really a UFO flying over city?

A UFO enthusiast claims he has proof that an alien craft has flown over Hampshire.

Kenneth Parsons says he photographed this image of a disc-shaped phenomenon on the outskirts of Winchester.

Now he is convinced the mystery object proves the existence of other intelligent life in the universe.

The 60-year-old initially captured the mysterious image while taking photographs close to Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium.

But he only spotted it after loading images on to his computer and said: “I first thought it was an insect close to the lens of my camera, or maybe a bird.

“But after enlargement I realised it was a discshaped aerial object about a mile out.

“I zoomed in on it and I’m no expert on wildlife, but I swear I have never seen a bug, bird or spec of dust like this before.”

The UFO spotter from Farnborough, who founded investigation group the British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society (BEAMS) in 1991, believes the sighting at noon on Sunday, April 5, is nothing to fear, and it could have appeared briefly while travelling through a wormhole.

He claims that his wife Hilary Porter, 68, has experienced multiple alien abductions and added: “These phenomena follow you from childhood.”

Very huge UFO taken over Niagara Falls, in Canada

On May 9, 2015, a man living in Niagara Falls (Ontario, Canada) played with his new camera when he has photographed a very huge unidentified flying object. This UFO was not visible to naked eye. What is it?

Witness report:
My wife and I live in Niagara Falls, and we went to play with a new d5200 camera. I was taking photos away from the falls through the mist, on long exposures, and out of a a large number of photos, this one stood out.

I have no idea what it is. I don't know if it's a camera shake, I don't know if it's a funny glare that happened during an exposure so I was hoping maybe someone there could identify it as well as let me know what it is.

I did not notice anything in the original RAW files until I started tweaking the photo and noticed it. I have three photos that this object is in, and in different places.

Time taken was between roughly between 9:30 and 10:30pm

I am including a jpeg of the original RAW photo as well as a close up, ovr exposed photo that shows the object more clearly.

Again, I don't know if this is a lens flair or a funny shake.. but it's kinda creepin me out.
Any reply would be appreciated

‘UFO’ was in fact just a contrail

PIETERMARITZBURG’S vapour trail mystery has crystallised into one conclusion — the vapours were the trail left by an aeroplane flying at high altitude.

Speculation started after the trail was spotted on Tuesday af-ternoon, with three theories put forward: it was a piece of space junk falling to Earth, a large meteor or an aeroplane.

Pietermaritzburg resident Errol Agnew was emphatic that it was a plane. “The aircraft started creating the vapour trails before it got to Pietermaritzburg and, once overhead, was clearly visible ahead of the vapour trails. As the aircraft headed to the west, it was no longer visible and only the trail could be seen in the sky.
This object was seen falling from the sky on Tuesday afternoon in Northdale. Did you see it?
“Because of the altitude, the aircraft could not be heard. Judging from the altitude and direction of the aircraft, I am reasonably certain it was the Qantas flight from Australia heading for O.R. Tambo.”
Hilton resident Karen Bell agreed.

“I think it’s definitely the contrail from a Qantas A380 airplane. You don’t normally see such things here in South Africa, but they are common in colder parts of Europe,” she said.

Manoj Anand said he was on Greytown Road when he saw the “white streak across the sky”.

“I took a picture and then zoomed in on it from my phone. Once I did that, I could clearly see that it was a jet flying at a very high altitude,” he said.

Anand said that on doing a little research, he found that the hot air from the jet’s fumes mix with the cold air at high altitude to cause the white streaks to appear.

Louise Schmidt took a video of the trail from Scottsville, and said it was a plane flying at high altitude to Johannesburg.

Jane Harley photographed a similar stream at 3.30 pm on Wednesday.

“I don’t think it is the same as the one in the paper, and I didn’t see anything falling, just the line. I took the picture because it seemed so unusual that there would be a trail that went straight down like that.

“I wondered about it because it seemed unlikely that it could be a plane, since that plane would most certainly have crashed.”

Ferrari Conceptually Designs A Spacecraft

Art Concept of the Craft
Ferrari’s design director has imagined what a spacecraft would look like if it was designed by the famous Italian company.

Flavio Manzoni, who is a lifelong sci-fi fan, said the project was a bit of fun, but the results are breathtakingly beautiful. -DailyMail

Artist Rendition "Over The Desert"

In fact, it's not a car at all: Manzoni took a break from styling some of the most beautiful vehicles on the planet to sketch his vision for a spacecraft of the future, lithe and fully chromed-out, just as you'd expect any good sci-fi spacecraft to be. It turns out that he's had an obsession with UFOs since childhood, and there's no shortage of UFO inspiration here — if there's an aircraft, shuttle, or rocket that exists today that looks anything like it, I don't know what it is. -The Verge

Artist Rendition "Orbiting The Planet"

Ferrari design director Flavio Manzoni does not limit his creations to just automobiles. Well known for such outlandish, street-ready works of art such as the Laferrari and the FXX K, Manzoni is in fact always drawing, whether it be working on a new design for Ferrari or simply sketching a futuristic means of transportation that is out of this world. Accordingly, Flavio recently revealed a design for an insane spaceship concept.

“I tried to imagine something that can fly in the future, since there will be less and less space available on the ground, and I focused on creating a little craft that’s different than my childhood dream,” said Manzoni when speaking with Form Trends.

The flying silver object draws inspiration from various spacecrafts throughout film history, dating back to the ’70s. As noted on numerous Ferrari models, the spaceship boasts a front and a rear spoiler, with the overall concept being divided into two sections. -Highsnobiety

But also doesn't this remind you of something familiar? For me its the Naboo Starship from the Star Wars Sagas.

New Evidence in Roswell UFO Crash - The Facts & Images

Never-before-seen photos from the 1947 Roswell UFO crash have emerged. They supposedly depict an alien that was allegedly "found dead" in New Mexico.

The New Roswell Alien Pictures

The photos were found in an attic in Arizona. There were also images of Bing Crosby, Clarke Gable and Dwight Eisenhower before he was president.

Body Scan or Mapping of Creature.

Among them was Dr Richard Doble, a former Canadian academic and forensic pathology consultant with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who said that the being at first glance appears like a deformed human. At closer examination, however, he pointed out that the being is clearly not a human being since it has only four pairs of ribs rather than the 12 in a normal human being. He also said that the bone structure of the feet and hands are also very different to a human, along with a number of other significant anatomical differences. -Examiner Source

Artist Rendition of what it may have looked like
UFO specialists claim it took five years of research to confirm the authenticity of the latest images.

Richard Dolan, a leading US researcher and writer on UFOs, further argued for the authenticity of the images. 'The analysis of the body or creature that is presented in the image, suggested that this is not a mummy, not a human, not a mammal and not a model, which would require a highly sophisticated detailed understanding of comparative anatomy among various species,' Dolan said. -Sky News

Or is it Just A Mummified Child?
While others claim it to be nothing more than the an uncanny resemblance to photos known to be taken of mummified children from ancient Egypt and Rome, which reside in museums today. -Inquisitr

Series of Strange Lights spotted flashing over California

A series of bizarre lights that were spotted flashing in the sky of Southwest of San Diego on Tuesday night left a number of residents baffling. Many residents even thought that the lights were flashed by a UFO.

NBC San Diego was told by one resident that light looked like a strobe with red, blue and green lights. Photos of the incident were also obtained by the new agency from viewer Larry Fox, in along with several reports from other residents.

As the lights were stationary in the sky, witnesses didn't think they came from a plane or a drone. The light in the sky triggered an intense conversation online. Though, no official confirmation has yet come for the origin of the lights.

Headlines were created by Toronto's night sky last July when a series of colorful lights were spotted over the Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue.

Numerous calls were received by Toronto police about the mysterious UFO. People who made calls revealed about the blinking pink, green and white lights that were spotted hovering in a diagonal line formation.

"It looked like a strobe light. It was a series of flashing lights. If it was a plane, it would have moved", said Fox.

Cardwell UFO festival probes the truth

Reports of mysterious objects in the sky and aliens walking among us will be the talk of the town this weekend as the far north Queensland town of Cardwell hosts its second annual UFO festival.

Festival manager Thea Ormonde said UFO sightings were common in the far north and hoped the festival would provide answers to what remains an unexplained phenomenon.

"From when I was a little girl I've always remembered my mum and dad talking about different things friends had seen or that they had seen when they were camping," she said.

"A few of us got together and thought it's something that I think we need to look into.

"There's just too many sightings to say 'no there's nothing out there'."

Ms Ormonde said this year's festival planned to mix the fun side of exploring the possibility of extra-terrestrial life with a more serious discussion of people's first-hand experiences.

"There's going to be a costume party on Friday with a bar and a band rocking on through the night," she said.

"We want everyone to come dressed as their favourite alien and bring their alien friends along as well.

"The Saturday afternoon is more for the genuinely interested in the unexplained phenomena."
At the aptly named 'C-files forum' on Saturday afternoon, visitors will be granted access to a previously private collection of documented UFO sightings that Ms Ormonde said were the life's work of late Tully woman Claire Noble.

"We have all of her information that she compiled since 1954," she said.

"Anyone that experienced something or knew something would know to go to Claire and she would write everything down.

"We're very, very fortunate that her family has handed over all her information to us."

Although she was sure there would be some sceptics making an appearance at the festival, Ms Ormonde said it was a place for people to come and share their interest in the unknown.

"It's not for anyone to be made fun of or anything like that," she said

"It's somewhere where people can feel safe to talk about their experiences.

"We're hoping for an uplifting vibe; a really happy vibe where everyone's going to be on the positive with everything."

The Cardwell UFO festival kicks off this afternoon at 5:00pm before finishing with the 'C-files forum' from 1:00pm until 4:00pm on Saturday afternoon.
