UFO sighting on Channel Nine Darwin’s broadcast

Channel Nine Darwin’s host Jonathan Uptin was shown up by a UFO
THE Territory’s insurance body has refused to comment on the looming necessity of offering cover against UFO attacks and potential probing after an unidentified object was captured on film during Nine News Darwin’s broadcast last night.

As news anchor Jonathan Uptin read the start of the bulletin, a ‘flying saucer shaped’ object appeared to hover over his shoulder.

It is well documented that the Dry is the ‘green nomad’ season in the Territory with eye witness accounts truthfully recorded in a local newspaper of record.

The NT has been on the brink of invasion several times.

Some people have described being run off the road by spacecraft shaped like a Ford station wagon.
While there is no suggestions now of an invasion, there are grave fears held for Uptin, who obviously has grave fears for himself.

When the NT News questioned TIO — the Territory government-owned insurance organisation — on whether it was well-past time when it should be offering insurance, the organisation declined to comment.

There is no Territory ministerial portfolio for UFOs but some believe either the transport or the multicultural affairs minister should show leadership.

While not wanting to be seen as a hostile move, the natural minister for this portfolio would be street justice disher-outerer Attorney General John Elferink who has been dubbed ‘Super Elf’.

NT News reader Krystal Hamilton also saw the object but hosed down UFO speculation.

“...(I) reckon it might be a fly...(it) disappeared after I took the photo,” she said.

“Or two flies getting jiggy.”

Long serving journalist Uptin said he was fine but there was some foreboding.
“I just hope it doesn’t return tonight and I’m abducted,” Uptin said.

“It is a real concern obviously but because I was facing the camera I didn’t know what was going on behind me, so I wasn’t as petrified as I should have been.

“I was made aware of it by our news director Jarrod Koh halfway through the bulletin and I did turn around to try and have a look but it disappeared.

“I thought it was bad when my Melbourne colleague Peter Hitchener was attacked by a seagull but this is obviously a much deeper concern.”

Mr Uptin said he had certainly never seen a UFO in the skies above Darwin city.

It will be interesting to see if he’s at work next week.

In May, Muckaty Station manager Ray Aylett revealed crop circles to the world that he said had been made by aliens.

“There’s no other explanation,” he said.
